In many ways, the playing field of life has become more level. With retirement funds, college savings and cash safety nets lost due to a Great expectations, gail mcwilliams, plant in handsstumbling economy, the answer has become trusting the living God with today’s manna like the children of Israel. In a day when the dollar is devalued, the treasures of God have become more apparently secure. The truth of God’s steadfast interest in us and His riches in glory renew hope eternal. He will NEVER change.

Simply ask. The result will be supernatural. Out of improbable and impossible settings there will be: buying lands and houses; business ideas established; and the joy of working together effectively, demonstrating trust and faith that our God can do the impossible. The assignments at hand will flourish under His direction. This is our finest hour, indeed!

Instead of going through life routinely, thoughtful strategies and listening in prayer will be our focus. There will be God-birthed ideas, books written quickly from His heart, and influential doors opened. There will be bolted areas unlocked, like when Peter was taken out of prison chains and escorted by an angel to the crossroads of the city. Answered prayers will become immediate like Rhoda’s who prayed with others for Peter’s release from prison and then was surprised to discover him face to face, knocking on the door.

We will act promptly, like a disciple who obeyed the instruction to go fishing and was told a gold piece would be in the mouth of the first fish, enough to cover their taxes. We will have the tenacity of a David, who boldly asked in the middle of cowering fear and giants, “Is there not a cause?”

The reality of who our God is and who we are in Christ will astound the watching world as we possess the land and move with spiritual force against darkness. Proverbs 4:18 says, “The path of the righteous is like the light of dawn, it shines brighter and brighter to the full day.” No matter how narrow the path, it is well lit for direction and sure footing.

He has gone before you and walks beside you. The glory of the Lord is your rear guard!

May God give you the confidence of trusting in a Savior who is steadfast in His love, forgiveness and purpose. May you delight in His assignments, knowing He will complete the work He has begun in you. May you be like the righteous person of Psalm 112 whose heart was established in trust, never dreading evil news. May you smile with confidence at the edge of the sea of impossibilities, knowing that with God all things are possible. He is the same—yesterday, today and forever.

Are you suited up and ready for His path?

When you choose to look past the horizon… the sky is the limit!
