The motive for writing this book is to leave a trail for others to follow, especially my children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, friends, and seekers of the Creator and Sustainer of all things. FACTS, A Call to Action, resulted from seeing my first and only vision. The vision was simple, but profound; brief, but lasting; comforting, yet challenging. It is described in the Preface of this book. This event became a personal challenge to review what I believe, why I believe, and what have I done with my belief! Included are my findings, thoughts, and ideas, along with the teaching of others who have influenced me. What is amazing is that the God of the Universe desires to be known! He verifies His existence by “many infallible proofs!” I have been privileged to see Him in nature; on land, at sea; in combat; in space exploration; in research laboratories; in history; in the Holy Scriptures; in the lives of men and women of faith; and in the lives of mockers and atheists whose lives became radically changed! God’s words are true: “If you seek Me, I will let Myself be found!” He desires to create for Himself additional “sons and daughters!” Become a part of His family. He has a special work for you to do!

This book shares a beautiful phenomenon that happened over Prestonwood Baptist Church, Plano, Texas. One leg of a brilliant rainbow was centered on the Cross above the Prayer Tower, and the tower was engulfed in light from the setting sun. Many people upon viewing the photograph exclaim, “It’s a God Thing!” The intent of this book is to share the photograph, along with thoughts and insights relating to it. Most of these reflections came while the writer was recovering from a near-death experience. During this time, the image of the Rainbow never left him.
