Vision requires you to listen. Are you listening to those around you who may have a need you can fill or even have an answer you are searching to find? Have you only been looking at your own needs and abilities?
Vision requires you to trust others who see things you cannot. Do you consider the views of others, helping you see beyond your blind spots?
It empowers you to see the best and to acknowledge the limitless potential.
Vision creates a backdrop for more dreams and laughter as you imagine a world that others cannot see. Have your dreams been stopped because of looks of rejection and disapproval?
Vision lets you see the big picture instead of what is immediately in front of you. Do you simply see the door’s lock or do you focus on what lies just beyond that door?
I love to encourage people when I speak to crowds, because they often are struggling with blindness, overlooking opportunities. Vision is about having determination to see more than the natural eye can see. You don’t need lights turned on to have vision, for it alone will light your path of promise. You, my friend, have been distracted by what you have focused on and now it is time to begin to see with your heart. Do you see the favor and influence you have in your generation? Can you see that you bring to the conference table of life a gift and personality that is unique for the job at hand? Will you be persistent to look past the challenges and focus on what is in your grasp that is yet to be developed? Will you resist looking around for approval and comparing yourself with others to finally see that you have great value?
What distractions are blocking your vision?
When you choose to look past the horizon… the sky is the limit!
