One-minute features have also been produced and a sampling can be accessed at http://gailmcwilliams.com/?p=3835.

The award was given at a breakfast meeting sponsored by Bott Radio Network on Tuesday, March 5, 2013 as part of the National Religious Broadcasters Convention held in Nashville, Tennessee at the Gaylord Opryland Resort on March 2-5, 2013. Ms. McWilliams was also the keynote speaker for the event.

Gail’s weekday program has airplay in nineteen states via 150 radio stations. Listeners make a daily connection with one of the nation’s most engaging personalities. Gail’s uncanny communication ability and her effervescent humor enable her to deliver penetrating inspiration and probing challenges.

Joni Eareckson Tada says, “Gail has the rare gift of communicating joy in her voice and is able to do so without sounding as though it were pasted on with toothpaste. Gail has a gutsy, deep and a unique message to give to so many.”

Speaker, author and national radio host, Gail McWilliams, has an instinctive ability to capture and lift the spirits of people from all walks of life. She empowers others for a renewed reach toward dreams and purpose they once thought impossible. Her radio programs feature a resonating tagline, encouraging listeners with the visionary focus, “When you choose to look past the horizon, the sky’s the limit.”

Gail has had extensive experience in public speaking to a wide variety of groups, corporations, churches, and organizations. Her seasoned approach is upbeat, characterized by motivational and inspirational focus. Presentations are themed with stories and encouragement to overcome challenges and live life the way it was created.

Carl Anderson of Clear Channel Media says, “Gail has an amazing ability to tell a story and bring life application in a short amount of time. I especially admire her ability to say a lot with very few words. Her cadence, pacing and sweet voice capture the senses and is highly engaging. My job takes me to radio stations all over the country to help broadcasters with word efficiency, power words, motivational messaging and how to effectively engage an audience. Gail is a wonderful example of incorporating all those skills into a terrific broadcast.”

The radio feature borrows the title Seeing Beyond from Gail’s signature book by the same name, with foreword by Zig Ziglar. A back cover endorsement is also included by Pete Briscoe of Bent Tree Bible Fellowship Church and the national radio ministry Telling the Truth. Pete was one of the keynote speakers at this year’s National Religious Broadcasters Convention. Gail is very pleased to incorporate the voice of Wayne Shepherd as the program’s announcer. Wayne works out of Chicago and produces various radio programs through his own production company.

Gail’s program is recorded in the studio of PowerPoint Ministries, headquartered at Prestonwood Baptist Church in Plano, Texas, under the leadership of Dr. Jack Graham. Larry Cassady, who serves as studio engineer and producer, served in the same capacity for the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and Promise Keepers in Colorado Springs, Colorado, before working for PowerPoint.

Unique to Gail’s ability to deliver each of the radio presentations is the fact that Gail is visually impaired, having gradually lost her eyesight while having her children.  She states, “In my darkest hour vision was birthed. And, when you have vision you can see even in the darkest places of life.” Gail does not use a script and records her program extemporaneously.

The Irvine, California, company, Amb-OS Media, has been contracted to distribute the program nationally through their satellite and FTP systems, serving radio stations in North America.

There is a growing interest already in Gail’s feature and plans include the adding of more radio stations. Gail’s two-minute feature program is also offered in one-minute segments as well.

Gail is a natural for loving and encouraging people, no matter the age or gender.
