The other day I was asked by our awesome marketing agency we work with called, Infinity Concepts, “Why do you exist?” Great question for all of us! However, my questions had to do with further development of my DNA and, more specifically, my purpose statement. Have you ever considered yours? Why do you exist anyway?

Some might say they exist to work or provide for their family by keeping food on the table and their kids in school. Others might be very skilled in their career but only are existing and surviving, never engaged in living. Days quickly turn to weeks, months and years, and few know what their purpose is for living. You have one, you know.

I tell my children they were born on purpose, for a purpose, with purpose to accomplish His purposes in their generation. You too!

Purpose drives passion and passion fuels purpose. There is nothing more exhausting than endless activity and energy spent only to find out you were on the treadmill of life and going nowhere. Purpose and causes are different.

A purpose is your DNA, while a cause is something many can rally around. Think about it. You are unique, one of a kind with different opinions, skills, insights and talents. What will it be used to do and who will it impact?

After being asked many questions and following some exercises to find out my unchangeable defining difference in life and my heart, focus I finally found why I exist. I immediately called my mother and told her why she gave birth to me. Care to know too?
